It Takes a
Village to
Run a Race.

Grab a friend or two and volunteer together! It’s a tonne of fun and a great way to be involved without running. Energy is high and volunteers agree it’s an extremely rewarding experience.

Run Comfy Numb is a single-day event and we have many roles that need to be filled, including pre- and post-race tasks.

Volunteer registration for the 2027 Run Comfy Numb 25K & 50K will open with registration. We’ll add the sign-up link here as soon as it’s ready.

Find Your
Role.

There’s a spot for everyone on the volunteer crew. From pre-race setup to the final finisher, every role matters.

Set Up & Tear Down
Help get the race venue ready and pack it all down after the last finisher. Early starts, great crew energy.
🏃
Course Marshals
Guide and cheer runners on course. You’re part of the support team helping athletes stay on track and keep moving.
🧹
Course Sweeps
Follow behind the field, help make sure no runner is left behind, and assist with bringing the course back in.
🥤
Aid Station Staff
Keep runners fuelled, hydrated and encouraged. Big smiles and good energy go a long way.
🏁
Finish Line Crew
Help look after finishers, food and the flow of the finish area. You’ll get to see plenty of great finish-line moments.
