Whistler, BC, Canada · Running since 2004
Whistler’s original trail race. Technical singletrack, sweeping views and one iconic trail.
The Race
Run Comfy Numb is Whistler’s OG trail race, locally owned and running strong since 2004. Choose the iconic 25K or take on the epic 50K — both built around the legendary Comfortably Numb trail.
Expect exhilarating climbs, technical descents and sweeping vistas along a nearly all-singletrack route. The black-diamond terrain hides its difficulty in rock rolls, roots, wooden bridgework and constant twists and turns.
The race began directly after the Comfortably Numb trail was completed. Originally built as a point-to-point with no shortcuts, no exits and no cell reception, it remains one of Whistler’s defining trail experiences: once you’re committed, you’re all in.

Two distances. One legendary Whistler trail. Neither is easy — both are unforgettable.

The Story
The race began in 2004, directly after the Comfortably Numb trail was completed. Built by local legend Chris Markle and crew, the original point-to-point trail had no shortcuts, no exits and no cell reception.
The trail has changed a little over more than two decades, but the character hasn’t. It remains the longest point-to-point trail in the Whistler Valley — and one seriously memorable place to race.
