Policies
There are no refunds, deferrals, or credits issued by ENDURANCE SPECIFIC EVENTS (Whistler X Tri, The Pemby Pounder Trail Run, Run Comfy Numb Trail Race) if you cancel your entry.
There are absolutely no refunds for any reason except through insurance (see below). Please buy insurance or be prepared to forfeit registration fees regardless of the reason; for example, injuries, illness, family emergency, change in plans, travel, life circumstances or pregnancy, none of which are eligible outside of pre-purchased insurance.
Cancellations & Refunds
- There are absolutely no refunds, deferrals, or credits issued by ENDURANCE SPECIFIC EVENTS (Whistler X Tri, The Pemby Pounder Trail Run, Run Comfy Numb Trail Race) if you cancel your entry for any reason. Please don’t ask.
- You cannot defer your race entry to a future year.
- Refunds can ONLY be processed for anyone who selects the optional Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. You will have an option to refund through Protecht. Details here.
Transfers & Distance Changes
- You CAN transfer your entry to another person via the transfer link on the registration page. There will be a $5 admin fee. The 2027 transfer deadline is TBC.
- There are no waitlists.
- You can move down in distance until the 2027 distance-change deadline, which is TBC.
- No credit or refund for the difference in price if you decide to move down in distance.
- You can move up a distance until the 2027 distance-change deadline, which is TBC.
- If you want to move up in distance you will have to pay the price difference at the current registration rate.
- To move up or down in distance or if you are dropping out, send us a note at rd@endurancespecific.com.
Registration Protection
Additional registration protection can be purchased through the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program, which is a refund protection insurance for attendees. For a small premium, purchasers of the refund protection will be refunded the registration cost of a non-refundable, unused registration, less the cost of the Race Roster Registration Refund Protection Program fees.
You will be given the opportunity to purchase the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program during registration. It is not expensive and it is the only possible way to get a refund on your entry.
Event Cancellation by Organiser
Endurance Specific Events reserves the right to cancel Run Comfy Numb Trail Race, or change the route on short notice due to fire bans/fire closures, air quality, weather conditions, wildlife or safety concerns, pandemic, unforeseen construction, Acts of God or other such reasons with no reimbursement to the participant.
- In the case of event cancellation by Endurance Specific Events, no refunds will be available.
- For cancellations more than 2 months before the event, entries will be transferred to the next available date that the event is able to operate.
- If canceled less than 2 months before the event, transfers may not be offered.
- Mid-race cancellations are not eligible for race credit, transfer or refunds due to the high cost of organizing these kinds of events.
